Will there still be schools and teachers in the future?

Scientists say that in aproximately 20 years there won't be any schools or teachers. I'm not really sure if it will happen... I'm wondering... Will computers replace schools?

In the last few years courses (to learn new things) and school exercises appeared in the Internet. Some schools have blogs online and teachers give the students some homework to post in them. There are some Internet sites that teach grammar, languages and other subjects and they have exercises to make sure you've learnt.

But I think nothing can replace schools and teachers, because at school you can talk with other students, ask specific questions to the teacher, work in groups, have a social life and make friends. Maybe you can learn some things in the Internet, but it can't replace schools. Schools are like our second home... Schools are more than sitting, studing and learning, schools are places where you go every day, you meet new people and places you remember even when you re old. Definitely, nothing could replace them.

Anyway, if computers replace schools, it will be a great technology advance. In 20 years maybe children will learn and study from their homes, with their computers. Maybe they will be able to see and talk to their teachers with a web camera and a microphone. It won't be the same, but it will be a technology advance.
